Mr.Prem K., an accomplished mechanical engineer, and Mrs. Yashodhara k., an educationist, together laid the foundation for Elk The Trust (ETT) in 1971 in Kanpur, one of India’s oldest cities, historically renowned as the “Manchester of Textiles.” Mr. Prem’s expertise is centered around innovative designs for renewable energy solutions, particularly hydrogen and solar power systems tailored for industrial applications.
Their daughter-in-law is the visionary co-founder of today’s Elk The Trust (ETT) Group. Her extensive research has given her deep insights into the effects of chemicals on both living organisms and the environment. Having grown up around India’s unorganized textile sector in hubs such as Jalalpur, Bhadohi, Surat, and Kanpur, where her late father, Mr. Narendra, was actively involved in the textile outsourcing domestic wholesale business, She gained invaluable firsthand experience.
In 2016, driven by a family vision, she established the now professionally organized Elk The Trust (ETT) Group. The family’s younger son, Mr. Vijit, co-founder and country representative for CIS countries along with his partners Mr. Dmitry and Mr. Nikolai, has played a pivotal role in supporting the group’s global mission. Together, they have built a robust enterprise that provides a comprehensive range of services, including design, production, quality control, testing, and logistics, for garments, home textiles, and fashion accessories.
Today, Elk The Trust (ETT) Group operates in five countries and supplies sustainable, chemical-free products to more than twelve nations, significantly impacting the global textile industry. As a full-service provider and wholesaler, Elk The Trust offers end-to-end solutions across garments, home textiles, and fashion accessories, solidifying its position as a key player in the market.
